This is OP, after reading over some of the other applications, i could probably answer some of the oncomming questions.
This is my main character, there are others with similar names, but i dont use them and they should dissapear soon, i was trying different professions.
If approved, and probably even if not approved, i will stay in NB till the end, maybe scouting neighboring suburbs for potential oncoming threat, but from what i gather from these boards, we have enough threat to worry about camped in NB.
Combat Revives, well atm i cant revive much of anything because well, im a n00b (back after many years, and started over). Once i can revive, i promise to follow the rules of combat revives and not doing them. I've read the reasoning for this on these boards and well, it sounds like common sense and good logic.
Lets seee, no other groups, no other group applications (i read over a billion groups before i decided i would fit in better here than anywhere else)
I prefer forums or a messenger client, saving APs is always a good thing.
As for vetting, well keep an eye on me, im a little slow and new to the game, but once i get rollin ill be pretty dedicated. I have the NB Barricade Plan bookmarked and will do my best to keep the burb safe once i get construction (i think thats what it takes to barricade)
Any other questions i'll be more than willing to answer, and ill be doing my best in NB untill i've proven myself to the OM ways. I look forward to admittance and any possible training in the current affairs of Malton.
Thanks, and stay alive out there

Currently based in East Central NB, dont want to give away exact location atm, one of the few VSB buildings i could find.
Will be attacking zeds for first 100xp to get free running so i can get around easier, then ill start on the stocking up and healing till i can get Diagnose.
From there, itll be construction then finishing up the melee tree for survival then i plan to branch of to a more healing/supportive role. I really look forward to doing my best to keep these buildings safe and powered.
its sort of sad, i ended on Firefighter thinking it might be a little easier, then once i get around the game realize it probably wasnt the best way to go, but i dont want to make a new character since UD doesnt allow for deleting

Well, I'm still around, still alive (somehow). Man it's a jungle out there without free running. I couldn't find a VSB point anywhere, at this point I'm resorting to hide in plain site tactics. Small groups of zeds just about everywhere but I'm pretty sure you all know that already I'm getting closer to free running, hopefully then there's enough heavy barracades around hospitals to switch to the healing for xp tactic.

Many thanks for choosing the Olney Militia. You are now in the vetting procedure. To clarify you are an OM in name only as the OM itself and the citizens of NB will be watching you (creepy as it sounds it's called vetting) By putting OM in your groups is like you declaring you are are wearing our colors or our badge, in other words you are 'us' out there. We do this as a good way to vet potential new members. To become a full member you get vetted by us and then if successful gain access to the board (your registered account remains pending until then). When & if that happens is up to you and what you do.... have a read of what we expect from you in this topic. Please do keep checking back here as we might have other questions or missions for you. This post is your contact point with us so we also really appreciate your intel posts on the burb and zeds# out there. All the best Couple of Questions When you said there are others with similar names, but i dont use them and they should dissapear soon are they inside the burb? if so please move them out far, far away. What time/zone are you online? Many thanks for your pre-emptive answers to the questionnaire & your intel reports. Get free running soon it makes your life so much easier.

They're in different burbs, don't quite remember wich ones, or exactly how far away, but since I don't log in as them, they aren't coming near N.B. and since we have our hands full here, I don't see me going to them anytime soon, as in ever.
Timezone, Central, think that's GMT -6:00
If the other characters have to be really really really far away, I could log in to them and try to get them as far away as possible. I'm really open to cooperation.

Some basic tips you probably know about ~ Being a fireman is not so bad many OMs started out as firemen, me for one, and they are the work horses of outfit. Although we normally attract NT specialists we can always do with more firemen.
With your axe you can go into the NT and you're guarantee that you can gain XP hack away at the zeds inside, but with scent trail and no free running you will probably fall into zed claws more often than not, so if you happen across Faks in the hospital use them on injured humans with 100% hit rate your XP will go up even faster.
Go for free running first then aim for diagnosis then you can see who needs healing. Search for faks & use them to swiftly gain more XP to level up fast. Up your HP by getting body building and protect yourself from pkers by finding a flak jacket.
As for your alts as long as they're not active inside NB and not members of other pro-zed guilds then we have no problem with you using your alts as per the game allows, meaning leading a separate existence. Most alts operate with at least 1 burb buffer zone between them to make sure they don't incur the zerg counter measures

I died, but I'm living life as a zombie for now. I've noticed it's easier to gain exp and not worry about death when you're already dead. I'm leaving zombies at revive points alone, mainly targeting small groups I see heading through the area, almost at 100 exp. I'll post a revive request either at 100 or 200xp to make my living life easier Noticing lots of zed activity in the N.E. Saw a group of 20 or so and more near Herbert Road Police Dept. and a few stragglers scattered elsewhere in that area. I'll be sure to keep up with the updates on both me, and the state of N.B. as I see it.

I advise that you don't stay undead as you have no zed skills and it will take more AP to up your XP level. Just park up on the RP after your attack of zeds inside buildings (no point attacking the ones outside) of your choice and make a revive request asap..

Heh... thanks for the help there Jake. It's a nightmare lately. Not getting very far, mainly only a few blocks at a time On a lighter note, got the free running, and wow does it help Question, if you attack a zed, and head off, duck into a building, and then hop from building to building with free running, can the zed still track your scent? This ability seems awfully unfair/balance tipping.

They can, but if you head far enough way or kill the zed before hand, they won't be able to track you.

If I remember right it's ten blocks away and scent trail is lost. But if you kill the zed the scent trail can not be used.
Don't get too disheartened as now you have FR skill use it to get into the hospitals and start searching for FAKs & heal as that is a sure fire way to avoid the zeds and up your XP.

Thanks for the skinny on scent trail, it doesnt seem so unbalanced now Just an update, im so close to Diagnose i can almost taste it. Actually dropped a zed earlier (always a joy when that happens). West/NorthWest NB isnt in to bad a shape, but NorthEast NB is still in ruins and under attack from what i could see. I guess them zeds just dont like us having police stations under our control Will report back later
