Many thanks for choosing the Olney Militia. You are now in the vetting procedure. To clarify you are an OM in name only as the OM itself and the citizens of NB will be watching you (creepy as it sounds it's called vetting)
By putting OM in your groups is like you declaring you are are wearing our colors or our badge, in other words you are 'us' out there. We do this as a good way to vet potential new members.
To become a full member you get vetted by us and then if successful gain access to the board (your registered account remains pending until then). When & if that happens is up to you and what you do.... have a read of what we expect from you in this topic.
Please do keep checking back here as we might have other questions or missions for you. This post is your contact point with us so we also really appreciate your intel posts on the burb and zeds# out there.
All the best
Couple of Questions Being an experienced player do you have any alts that are members of other groups either zed or human? We are a local group and don't move from NB are you happy to be static now? Why do you want to join the OM in particular? What role within the OM do you see yourself preforming the best in? What would you find interesting to do if there were no zeds for a time? Do you subscribe to using Combat Revives if so would you except it if we asked you to refrain from doing so? Do you find using forums an essential part of the UD Game or prefer the in-game approach? What time/zone are you online?

In answer to your questions- #1-Yes,i do.My longest running character is presently a solo bounty hunter who spent time in and parted amicably with The Saints(i find i get murdered less without the tags).Another has the rank of knight in the Knights Templar, and a third is a Malton Ranger.I find no satisfaction in playing zeds or PK'ers. #2-The Reverend was built to be a character of stability, and to be centralized in a particular location is right up his alley, but may i ask-Do you ever leave the 'burb for anything? #3-I wanted to stay in this part of the city because i am most familiar with it,and your group is by far the most stable and survivor friendly. Two of my alts have seen your people in action and one has been revived by your members.I was most impressed by the fact that you have stood your ground in the face of many onslaughts(and may be about to do so again i would guess). #4-The Reverend is a military medical-based character, and i see him FAKing and doing surgery quite a bit of the time, but his is also a fair fighter who will stand up front and make a good account of himself. #5-Eventually,perhaps work the revive points, but for now i'm happy to repair buildings, patrol, and spread the good word at St.Barnabas. #6-Only in a life or death situation, and i'd be happy to refrain from it. #7-I'm very pro-forum and forum-active.I find them both fun and essential. #8-I'm in Athens,Georgia,U.S.-Eastern Standard Time Also-You have probably gotten word on this, but i'm sure by this time Marven Mall is in Malltour hands. When i passed through earlier,it was cracked open like an eggshell, with 69 zeds in the NW corner(yes,69)and 16 in the NE corner. Also,i passed this fine fellow on the way up.He's MallTour.but in human form- www.urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=1345887And be wary of this one in the Claxton Museum- www.urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=1330774I've crossed over into North Blytheville and i'm looking for an entry point in the south central area before i get off the comp for the evening.Talk to ya soon, Rev.Ed

Thanks for you answers. For clarity RE:your other alts:1. No sharing of intel gleaned off this board with your other groups please. Keep all things separate. 2. None of your alts can share space with Reverend Ed Dooley or come into NB or surrounding burbs. Make sure there is a buffer zone of an extra burb beyond NB for certainty. I know you are an UD veteran, but just in case, please be aware of & not to commit the zerging offence. 3. The BH alt can not operate in N.B and certainly can not claim or target OMs (very rare but some claim on RG because we shoot Gkers, which conflicts with Brainstock ethos Gkers don't deserve pking) at any time from now on. Answers to your questions: We do go to the mall in SB to stock up. But we do not travel to other burbs to assist. We used to have busman holidays but now that we have permanent zeds camped outside/inside the NT we find we are always occupied with the up keep of NB! Entry points are contentious around these parts. We do our best to follow the UBP for NB but are just ignored by the gen pop or griefers. It is certainly something you can strive to do now that you have suffered a death because of it, when you run out of FAKS & bullets. see here Barricade Plan We also would like to reopen St B as a indoor revive point as you are based there it is something you should also consider for the future. All the best out there and keep posting your intel reports here.

Well, that is unfortunate.I'm afraid the BH still opts fot the hunting grounds of Tompson, and Marven Malls.I would rather be honest about this now,up front, and say respectfully that there is no way with honesty that could fulfill your qualifications.I would like to point out for the record though that i keep sufficient space between all of my alts an abhor zerging and those who participate in it.In closing, thank you for your time and consideration and congratulations on a very admirable group.I'll look forward to our paths crossing in the future as i feel that if nothing else,i've at least made a friend here.
Sincerely, Reverend Ed Dooley

Very well, a shame, but thanks for being honest & gracefully declining... it's better to honest and up front about these things, I find, hence all these questions. Your request will, regretfully, now be closed, your name has been taken off Wiki. And now finally please do remove Olney Militia from your groups.
We hope that you continue to spend your APs on NB and enjoy being part of the defenders of NB. Keep in touch as you are more than welcome to use RPs & NB news thread.
All the best out there.
