Many thanks for choosing the Olney Militia. You are now in the vetting procedure. To clarify you are an OM in name only as the OM itself and the citizens of NB will be watching you (creepy as it sounds it's called vetting)
By putting OM in your groups is like you declaring you are are wearing our colors or our badge, in other words you are 'us' out there. We do this as a good way to vet potential new members.
To become a full member you get vetted by us and then if successful gain access to the board (your registered account remains pending until then). When & if that happens is up to you and what you do.... have a read of what we expect from you in this topic.
Please do keep checking back here as we might have other questions or missions for you. This post is your contact point with us so we also really appreciate your intel posts on the burb and zeds# out there.
All the best
Couple of Questions Is this your only UD character or is this an alt? Do you have any alts that are members of other groups either zed or human? Why do you want to join the OM in particular? What role within the OM do you see yourself preforming the best in? What would you find interesting to do if there were no zeds for a time? Do you find using forums an essential part of the UD Game or prefer the in-game approach? What time/zone are you online?

I'm good for anything! What would you find interesting to do if there were no zeds for a time? Learning more healing and necrotech, possibly exploring.Do you find using forums an essential part of the UD Game or prefer the in-game approach? Forums are essential due to the nature of the game. What time/zone are you online? EST

Many thanks for completing the questionnaire.
I see from your 0 XP you might need some help getting your level higher. To do this easily I would advise that you start collecting FAKs from the local hospitals in NB (as the new game update suggests that Mall stocks are running out). It is 100% accurate to use them and as you've already acquired Diagnosis you are good to go! Most of the time you will find OMs injured all over NB.
With construction we follow the UBP of North Blythville so if you see our tags and cades are too low or too high then do correct it.
Also we need gen+fuel installations in all the Hospitals, NT, PDs (except Dear St), factories & Autos resource buildings. If you are successful in installing let us know in your report.
If you see anything out there like ruins, zed gathering, (with Pkers, Gkers use iwitness private to capture the event) add this to your report here.
If you are killed use the revive requester 3 sub-boards as before.
All the best out there...

Currently heard from CLASSIFIED that CLASSIFIED is overrun. I only have a few AP, going to heal CLASSIFIED with that. Might want to check it out. I'm currently at CLASSIFIED.

Congrats I would suggest you go for Necro Skill next as using FAKs is still the fastest way to gain XP. With First Aid it only ups the HP level of the recipient not your XP. But it is up to you (ahh I see you've gone for Necro skill). I would also suggest you get Body Building with your next 100XP and find FLAK in a PD to protect yourself from Pkers. If you fancy working in the hot zone you will find it in the NE sector. Plus if you keep an eye out for the recently revived off our boards they will need healing up too. Many thanks 'D' stay healthy Jake

Well, revived someone today. Silly me forgot to check the boards and what not, but it was more of a test run anyway The second person said their brain was damaged... but they didn't have brainrot. *shrug* Confused me...

This time around I will let it go as you were 'testing' but in future please don't Combat Revive zeds use the 3 sub-boards RPs to add the requesters profiles to your contacts without using your scanner.
If you come across any OMs (list all active members in your contacts off the Wiki) then revive them. Any other zeds found on blocks other than OM RPs are not to be revived at any time.
As for that brain damage bug I couldn't find anything listed? It is either a unknown bug or an anti-zerging countermeasure. If you know you have an alt inside this burb you need to move it out far far away.

Oh, they were in a revive point. I'll use the tool from this point on, if I can access it. I'm still not granted access to the boards.

Update: Currently positioned near one of the RP sites. 5 Syringes in inventory. May need assistance in reviving... I'm not certain how to target different Zombies when there's more than one (I only get one zombie on the drop down, and it just says Zombie).

No problem here is how to do it. Go to the 3 sub-boards (they are open to the public) Choose the player you want to revive and add it to your in-game contacts. Choose a color e.g purple in the contacts page so you know it's a player looking for a revive. then in-game approach the RP and in the group of zeds you will see the zed named in purple. Next to your Syringe you will notice a drop down tab. Click on the tab arrow and scroll down to the player in purple and select it & then click on the syringe button. That player selection will now drop to the floor revived. Once that is done you can delete that revived contact and make a reply post on the revive board requesters post to claim that revive. If you find the requester is not there or lying in the dead pile also do a reply post to their request saying 'Not there' or 'lying in the pile'. How to add a contact ~ example Click on this ~ www.urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=525550and scroll the to the bottom and click on button Add playername to your contacts list This will then switch to your in-game contact list (Make sure you are logged into the game on another browser window.) Or in-game just click on any old human scroll to the bottom of their profile page and add to contacts. (You can test this out this with all active OMs on the wiki page and then try out adding a color to all of them so you will know they are all OMs in zed form.) Once you've got a player listed in your contacts list it is then easier to add other contacts by ~ In-game go to your contact list Click on any contact already listed this will open up the players profile page. In the URL address bar you will notice at the end the id=numbers e.g www.urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=525550 is mine swap this for example to 466071 and hit enter key and this will now refresh to Masara's profile scroll to the bottom and click the Add Masara to your contact list. It will then show Masara as listed in your contacts. Before choosing a color you will notice the URL address bar is slightly different with this you can keep changing the id numbers and hitting enter key until you've added all the ones you want. I hope this helps.

Other things of interest for you. if you get attacked/gestured by a zed or hear it speaking in your event window it will give you a clickable ' a zomble' attacked you etc You can also add this zed to your contacts by the procedure listed above. You can then color them according to whether it has brain rot or not. E.g I use black for Brain Rot and orange for non-brain rot combat zeds. For pkers & Gkers I color them red. But it is totally up to you what definition colors you want to use. when you are deciding which player to revive check first to see if they have a warrant for RG found here www.ud-malton.info/Rogues_Gallery. If they do then it is probably best to move on to another requester who is genuinely a pro-survivor. Try not to revive zed only skilled either. If in doubt leave them out is the best policy as it is your APs you are using up.
